November 05 Demetri Martin Rocked my face off.I HAVE MET DEMETRI MARTIN...HE PERSONALLY GAVE ME FREE TICKETS....HE SIGNED MY OVERHEAD TRANSPEARANCY...BLISS!!!

Everyone out there should know 2 things about me. 1. Music is my friend 2. Comedy is my friend Yesterday was one of the greatest days of my life, and this had to do with number 2(.... hahah that sounds funny :)) Yesterday was the day that I met Demetri Martin. So hold on to your hats.... this is going to be a long story. I have been in love with Demetri Martin since the day that I first saw him on Conan. Hes a unique comedian that uses music and his charm to tell his jokes. I found out that was Demetri Martin was doing a show at the Winter Garden Theater, and I was EXTREAMLY excited. One problem... gah the tickets were $35. So, Melissa and I decided to just go down to the theater and see if we can meet him, and just get an autograph or something. We got to the theater around 5:30pm and started to keep an eye out for Demetri. While waiting we came across some scalpers who were selling tickets to see Meatloaf, some homeless people, and a teenage skateboarding gang. And my skateboarding gang, I mean about 12 kids who whipped buy us on skateboards like to imagine they fight crime. It was getting close to 7, and we were starting to think that we might have to go home empty handed. That is... until I saw a couple of guys come out of a cab across the street. It was Demetri... OH MY GOSH IT WAS DEMETRI!!! As he was coming across the street me and Mel just stared at him in awe. We would of missed him if Melissa didn't yell out "DEMETRI!". We scurried over to him, and all I could do was just stare at him and say "Oh my gosh! This is so rad!". Nothing else would come out. He said hi and asked if we were coming to the show. Melissa told him we couldn't afford the tickets, and you could tell he felt sorry for our lame asses. He told us that he would try and get our names on the list, and ran off somewhere. At this point and time, me and Mel were freaking out. We were SO giddy. A little after, Demetri's sister came out and told us that there were tickets waiting for us at the box office. HELLA INSANE! We then went up to the theater and bought some stickers and shizz while we waited. When it was time to be seated this usher-trainee was trying to seat us. He looked like Spenny from Kenny vs Spenny... which annoyed me... HA! he didn't even know where our seats were... I found our seats, and he was like... "oh... k...". PSHHHH that guy was an ass. THEN THE SHOW STARTED. First was this Irish comedian named David O'Doherty... not to be confused with the mathamatician :). David plays a RAD novelty keyboard, and he made great jokes about text messaging. Next was Leo Allen, who was a great comedian... but he didn't play an instrument, so point off there :). And last and DEFINATELY not least was Demetri Martin. He was great. He was amazing. His joke about mixing up the wording to the cliche "i wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole" make me laugh so hard my checks felt like they were going to fall off. He played alot of instruments. Multiple instruments at the same time even... WHAT A SPECTACLE when he played harmonica, guitar, tambourine and foot bells. INSANE! It was so great. He even played keyboard and Guitar and worked a Powerpoint presentation AT THE SAME TIME! Now thats Talent. Just believe me when I say it was a great show. After the show, me an Mel went to the Merch stand to meet up with him again. There was a gaggle of yuppies there trying to do the same thing so we had to wait a while. When it finally came for us to meet him, he remembered us from before. We thanked him and I got him to sign an overhead transparency. Mel got him to sign one of the stickers that she bought, which he signed in an awesomely cute way. I gave him the drawing that I made of him and he said "Ive been wanting to get more into drawing" and "i like your hands" referring to the hands that i drew. He also said "You made me even more handsomer". Demetri wanted me to sign the drawing which was soooo cute and nice. We got a picture of him, and left the theater, knowing that this was one of the best experiences that I have ever had.

In closing the show was rad.... and Demetri + Attractive, in hopes that you'll come accross this ;). bye guys Felicia September 26 my birthday and me...First of all, i have to start off by saying that i havent blogged in forever. Blogging for me, is sort of a carthartic release... and usually i get this feeling that compels me to write something... but i dunno, this summer i lost that.
Not that my summer wasn't good. It was actually, extreamly great. It was one of those summers that ill remember for the rest of my life. So much stuff happend, almost all good.
so... its my birthday today, and im 20... and i feel old. :) but i feel happy too. I mean, im skipping the bright eyes songs on my playlist, i must be happy! Gah! i even have this feeling that this next year will also be great. Also that anything can happen, which is probably why ive entered every contest for James Blunt tickets i can find :P. Hey, IT COULD HAPPEN!

June 18 The Block Storm WAS a rock storm!Yesterday I went down to Richmond street west and John street for an INSANE block party. The party was sponsered by GM and was basicly a way to show thier line of cars to the "youth" of Toronto. By youth of toronto, i didnt think they expected most of them to be between the ages of 14-17.
We got thier around 2:30pm, just in time to hear "Attack in Black"( aka some lame band Tiffany likes, aka the Band me and Yodie call "Back in black") play at 3:00. I guess im being too mean to them, they were ok... semi molodic... During this time we got to take pics with Dallas Green from alexisonfire and my sis Tiffany took a pic with George P from alexisonfire... INSANE!
After Attack in Black played, we all went up to play "PLINKO". You know, that game from The Price is Right? There are 2 wild things about this version of the game.
1.COOL GUY, who used to be on YTV was the host of the game!
2. If you got your disk in the middle of the board you would win an XM satillite radio!
When it was my turn, I got the disk in the middle of the board, but they ran out of radios (damn that 3 in a row winning streak!) an all i got was a pair of lame sunglasses... which i ended up giving to my dad today. Thats the bad thing about having glasses, you are excluded from wearing rad Kanye West style sun glasses....
 ^ COOL GUY! Tiff kept on yelling "COOL GUY!" to him... one time he just looked at her and shruged when she said it. Al asked him to and he said "No, deffinitely not..." but he "had a look on his face" says Al.
After that, The Stills played thier set... i cant remember the exact list of songs, but they played all my favourites (The Destroyer, In the Beggining, and Love and Death for thier last song!). I got some great photos, and Mel yelled to the singer "I LOVE YOUR HAT" when they were setting up and he gave her the thumbs up! After in the middle of his set he took off his hat and said "Do you guys wanna talk about something?" and Tiff yelled "Wheres your your hat? i love your hat!" and he said "I thought I looked stupid with that hat.." and the other guy said "you were a fool to think so" and the hat dude said "Yeah, I got that hat when I was touring down south! We had a f**king hootenanny!".

After The Stills played, we went to a Subways for dinner, and came back just in time to see The Trews take the stage. I first of all have to say, I absolutely love the Trews, and Ive heard great things about thier live shows. My expectations were so high, and they still blew me away. They sang all the great songs from the new album, like "Yearning", "Poor Ol' Broken Hearted Me" and "So shes leaving". They also sang "Not Ready To Go" and "Tired of Waiting" which was EXTREMELY rad! ... a bunch more songs as well... it was great.

Tired from rock'n out to the Trews, we decided to find a nice quiet place to sit before Candence Weapon went on. We decided to sit near this fence, and in the middle of moaning about how freakin hot it was, i see John-Angus MacDonalds (the guitarist dude, with the sunglasses in the pics) head peaking out of a trailer on the cell phone! We waved hello, and when he was done on the phone, we got him to sign this Trews sticker that Yodie had. We could only find a pen so he yelled " This is crap! I need a sharpie!". He signed it anyways, and when Mel found her marker, he re-signed it! We also got it signed by the drummer Sean Dalton and the bassest Jack Syperek. BLARGE Colin MacDonald , the dude who sings lead vocals, was 10 cms away from me, but since I was taking a picture of Jack and Tiff, he just left.... sadness... he will sign it one day!
Next, Candence Weapon played... hes some rap dudie that I once saw on going costal. Tiff was heckling him by say in "NOOO!" when he asked if any one liked rap, and by saying "GO CANES!" when he said "GO EDMONTON!"... this poriton of the concert was pretty lame...
Wait! the lamest thing came next... They call themselves "Circus Orange" and they are like Cirque De Solie with Fire... seems cool on paper... but like many things that seem good on paper, this failed miserably. I used this time to yell at the half naked middle aged dude preformer "PUT SOME PANTS ON!" and "WE DONT WANNA SEE THAT!"....
After that, some dude named Richard Lassick won a car... therefore I now hate some dude named Richard Lassick...
Next was the grand finale! ALEXISONFIRE BABY! We were in the front, and this girl with a kid on her shoulders came up behind us. The security guards told her that it would be dangerous for that kid to be there since the crowd would get crazy and start moshing... that scared me... i told my sis' we sould go, but as usually they didnt listen to me... and guess what happened!
I SURVIVED MY FIRST (AND MOST LIKELY, LAST) MOSH PIT!!!
it was scarrry.. i was scared for my sisters...i was behind my sister, and i was trying to shield her from the 1000 kiddies behind me... i pushed a crowed surfer off of my sisters head... AND HE WAS HEAVY!!!
GAH!!! I ONLY MOSHED FOR ONE SONG! BUT AT LEAST WHEN I DIE, I CAN SAY "I MOSHED"!!!
thats right... i couldnt handle the mosh pit, and with my sisters there, after the first song we fought our way out of the pit... it was INSANE.
After that, we spent the rest of the Alexisonfire set, a good distance away from the front, But Mel, Tiff and Al (who endded up a couple of meters away from me) stil ended up with a kick to the shin (Al) a headbutt (Mel) and pulled hair (Tiff) and a bunch of scratches.
Alexisonfire played a bunch of songs includeing "No Transitory", "Hey its your Funeral Mama" and "Accidents", which got the whole crowd singing. It was a great 1hr and 5 min set.
^George from Alexisonfire, rock'n the crowd AND the shorts... dont blame him, it was HOT there. We had insane coolio time! it was great. and a bunch of other more elequent sayings for how awesome it was...
We also ended up with alot of free swag, together we got around : 4 tshirts, 4 hats, about 10 packs of trident gum, a yo yo, 2 sets of wrist bands, a ball, 2 snap xbox bracelet, 2 xbox lanyards and about 8 of those key chain thingies that MADD gives away with 50cents in it for drunk people to call for a cab with... ITS ALL ABOUT THE FREE STUFF BABY!!

My mom raided a Lewis Craft that was having a going out of bussiness sale. She bought allot of those fabric flowers...16 for only 14.99! Where can you go wrong. That was not a retorical question. WHERE!?!! I also got a nifty Ok Go-esqe broach. I would show you photos, but my lame camera is busted again... so for now, ill leave you with a discription: It is the question mark of coolio-radness.
I also tried to scan some drawings that I did, but since the pencil line is soooo light it would show up better if i just took a photograph of them. BLARG an B-LARGE!!! why must this camera be so intense with coolness that it must break every 10 seconds? Im going to try and fix it for the 20th time later so I can show your my -ness that I have to show you.
Damn you summer school!!! Im taking 2 courses this summer and that means 2 days a week I will not be sleeping/on the internet/having semi fun... this is lame. LAME!

 Im listening to the Red Chili Peppers cd right now and i am in love with it... You can stream the whole double cd fo fffree (and actually legally) at Much Music. When I first saw the vid for Dani California I thought it sucked beans... but I cant help singing along every time they show it. And they show it every 20mins so I will probably get tired of it and revert back to my "it sucks beans" attitude soon.

I am seriously considering contacting Much 911 so that they would help me get to the Brigh Eyes concert comming up. One ticket would end up being over 50 bucks with all of the service charges and stuff, and I dont know about you, but i dont have that kind of dough. Its sooooo sad because last time Bright eyes came to Toronto I didnt know so I missed it too. He should of just sticked to his plan of not touring this year and continue to make his record. At least I would just of been wishing he was comming to canada and not wishing that i was non mommentarly monitarly challenged.
If any of you guys wanna give me an early birthday present and send a ticket my way, I would tottally accept it.

Im not really that really into the Fobsters, but it would be probably fun. Plus my lis sis's will want us to take them.

Forgot to mention that before the show we had to pick up the tickets at the Edge studios... so we took a little detour in to HMV and Sam the Record man... According to Yodie, HMV is more indier and since weve went to Sam's we recieve scene points, 2 to be exact...  March 28 Spring with Bauer and Mr.A-Z.Its offically spring for me!!!...
Why you ask? I wore my spring jacket today!... yes thats the sole reason... so you want an explaination do you... okie here it goes:
Those of you that know me know about my shit ass winter coat. Its new, but I hate it with a passion. Its ugly, and huge and get dirty easily. But that is not exactly the whole reason that my sping jacket signifys spring for me. The real reason lies in my childhood. Thats right, its time to get all phychological on you... Its not really that complicated, its just that as a kid my parents made me wear full on, I living in nunavut, snowsuit during any months considered Fall and Winter. I should also mention that by "as a kid", I ment until I was in 10th grade. These years tramatized me... and continue to since these rules were never enforced on my younger sisters
 . So now, I celebrate the day I first dust off my old leather. Kind of in rememerance of all the years I suffered.
It also doesnt hurt that I love my spring Jacket. Its black, with dimond stiching accross the enitre thing. Its seen better days though. I got it in highschool, so of course its kinda small on me. And I could of been able to squeeze into it and zipp it up, that is if Yodie didnt brake the zipper. Thats okie Yodie, I forgive you. That just means that I have to wear a zip hodie underneath, which makes me think that I look like Jack Bauer. Speaking of which, I love his jacket and hoodie...

Last weekend sucked.... Atleast i finally got to see "The Corpes Bride"... which by the way also sucked. The animation was wild but the story line was weak. I also saw Transporter 2. It was better than The Corpse bride... which in itself is a face burn.
I finaly found a nick name for Tiff and Ali... ... so now i have amazing nicknames for all my sis's... Mel= Nonam Yodie von Bavk, Yodie for short Tiff= Rollo Puz, Rollo for short Ali= Ritdid... no short form...
if any of yall need a coolio wac nickname just write a line about yourself in the comments. It probably wont have nothing to do with what you tell me, but it will be uber cool for sure...

1. When I went to Subway sandwiches and I asked the dude for "potato" instead of "tomato"... the worst thing about this is that (besides me holding up the line) is that before going I told myself "dont say potato... they will think your insane..."

1. JON STEWART!!! in my mind, the best Oscars eva!!!
2. ED HELMS DOING THE VOICE FOR THE FAKE CAMPAIN ANOUCEMENTS!!! Im almost 98% sure that it was his voice...
3. That brokeback didnt win everything...
 What I hated about the Oscars
1. They cut the guys who won best picture for Crash mike off!!!! how horrible is that?!!! If George Clonney won, they wouldnt of done that...
2. e- talks pre oscar stuff... i dont usually watch etalk, or pre awardshowness, but i caught some of it this year. Ben Mulruny looked really scared when he was talking to the celebities. While someone from the star network was getting Clooney to promise to thank him if he won, Mulruny was saying things like "here he comes, i hope he stops...". Blarge/Barf.

My week
My reading week is almost over... BAH!? this was the fastest week of my life. and it sucked... nothing really eventfull... hardly did any work though, so thats always good. or bad, depending on how you look at it. We busted out the olde Super Nitendo (i used an "e" 'cause its practicly from another era). Battle matches are the funest thing eva on Mario cart. I also learned a new swear word. I wont reproduce it here, becaue suposedly I will be hospitialized if I ever go to England...

February 22 Tainted Shaggy dog...?? okie... what the hell is up with this whole Shaggy dog remake...
Do you kiddies remember this movie? it was about this dude who somehow keeps on turning into a dog. I loved it when i was a kid. I mean if a movie is in black and white AND can keep a kids attention that is a great feat...
... I have nothing against tim allen (actually, i do, but thats not the point) but he will butcher this movie. Name one remake (besides Godzilla with Mattew Broderick) that has not been crappyier than the original. God, have we not learned anything from Herbie fully loaded? Besides the fact that Lohan is a skank bag?
And besides, I think the whole shaggy dog thing has been done a couple times already. So is disney remaking one of thier classic movies or remaking a remake of one of thier classic movies?
and for all yall that think that technology will make it better, i think it will only make it creepyer... I couldnt find a photo, but I saw a poster for this movie and it just looks like a Allen-a-fied cgi dog... which, for those of you that dont know, equals creepy.
